Abstract We estimate how much firms differentiate pay premia between regular and outsourced workers in temp agency work arrangements. leverage unique Argentinian administrative data that feature links user (the workplaces where perform their labor) agencies (their formal employers). a high-wage firm pays worker 10% premium on average only 4.9% premium, compared to what these would earn low-wage respective This 49% pass-through constitutes the midpoint benchmarks for insiders (one) competitive spot-labor market (zero).
